Your investment is governed by the investment agreement between you and the issuer, which is legally binding and remains valid under Canadian law. Togetherise acts solely as a facilitator, connecting businesses with investors and providing a platform for crowdfunding opportunities.
If Togetherise were to cease operations:
- Investment agreements: The terms outlined in the Offering Document and investment contract continue to govern the relationship between you and the issuer.
- Payment obligations: The issuer remains obligated to honor repayment terms as specified in the Offering Document and Promissory Note.
- Communication: Investors may need to establish direct communication with the issuer for updates or repayments.
It is advisable to retain all documentation, including the Offering Document and investment agreements, for future reference. These documents detail your rights and the issuer’s obligations, ensuring the investment’s validity is independent of Togetherise’s existence.
